About Me
- Ms. Martin
- I am teaching great classes of students at Westwood Community High School in Fort McMurray, AB. I am also a District Literacy Facilitator and Literacy Coach. I have 2 University Degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in English and History and a Bachelor of Education Intermediate/Secondary. I am on the Dean of Education and the Dean of Arts lists for sustained academic merit. I love teaching..and as my students are aware, they always come first. I am from Goulds, Newfoundland and have been in Fort McMurray since September, 2006.

*********Student Ownership of Learning**********
1. Students must attend and be prepared for each class. I promote a respectful, safe and caring classroom environment.
2. If a student misses class, he/she is responsible for catching up on missed work.
3. Students should spend a minimum of 1 hour per night reviewing, practicing, reading and completing English work.
******Please attend my tutorials in my room 225: 12:21-12:51 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays___
You can always stay after class or school to ask me any questions
